    ω-hydroxy acids or Omega-1?
could you find several researches published about Omega-1 or ω-hydroxy acids?

As i know some researches have been done on omega-1 but I cannot find any research paper published yet.
I'm not sure which foods are in rich omega-1 as well. I think some plants are rich in omega-1.
If you know, let me know the advantages of omega-1 for your health?and how it's used by your body?

    Thank you :)

I found a research titled from JDRF:
Does Omega-1 induce regulatory T cells to prevent type 1 diabetes ?
Could you get this full research paper yet or it's still in waiting to be published?

    https://www.jdrf.org.uk/research/pr...egulatory-t-cells-to-prevent-type-1-diabetes-
    description of jdrf research:http://onlineapps.jdfcure.org/AbstractReport.cfm?grant_id=36258&abs_type=LAY
mansoni egg extracts are rich in omega-1...
related to jdrf research: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19291704 mansoni egg extracts

One other doctor interested in omega-1. powerpoint http://www.juniorforskercafe.life.k...uniorforsker/docs/Hjerne_11/PP/BSc_Sofie.ashx

    quotation from one research:
A lipid fraction from S. mansoni eggs containing lysophosphatidylserine has been shown, in a TLR2-dependent mechanism, to induce the activation of DCs that promote Th2 and regulatory T-cell development .

The mechanism by which schistosomiasis can preventatherosclerosis is unknown but may be due to the lipid-loweringeffects of infection (9) or immune modulation by the strong, systemic Th2 response induced during infection (14).

feel free to add more research paper about omega-1 and diabetes type 1..Like the trial from JDRF who ended in april 2012.
