Ok - so I just watched your You Tube video - thanks for making me cry. Great video. Hopefully you have raised a good amount so far.
We have never made a video, our walk this year is October 31st -yes on Halloween. you video has inspired me - maybe I will make a video this year. I think the toughest part is finding the right song. Your's was perfect. We have to kids - our daughter that is 9, and our youngest son who is 5. Well just wanted to let you know your video made me cry. Good job.

Tracie: Thanks for your message. At various times, it's impossible for any of us to be active with JDRF and other causes due to managing our normal life... and managing a type 1 child can be full-time by itself. But, collectively, we should each do what we reasonably can do (when time enables) to help our kids get closer to a cure. Take care! Ken

Are there some people that just can't pump? Don't know if I'm reading some frustration into that, since I've been lurking on your threads about how hard this has been for you? Just want to say, i case there is some frustration, my best to you and all my sympathy. I think this is ALL really hard, you can run into problems with any part of it, I'm sure if you continue working on it you'll come through to the other side (of course, I understand and respect whatever you think is best to do). All these things are always so dispair-causing when you're right in the middle of it. Good luck.

I was about to hit the reputation thing and give for the story about James but that's gone so I'll say right here that I like reading that story.

You are so welcome. My son used one of the Infustion Sets as a hockey puck at his fathers game. Once the platic wrapping came off I had to take it away.. But I had another in my purse. LOL
