      I agree:)

Well that really stinks! I'd politely argue with them, at the very least you should get a coupon for something else! I saw on the SD forum that they'll give you a $10 credit if you've got a Target account.

In any event, I hope that your winter will be a very mild one, and that you'll never ever need the snow blower that could have been.
    3. Barbzzz
Snow blower, huh? Awww, I want one of those for $15, too! You never know, with global warming and all that, one of these decades it might come in handy!

Slickdeals is one of my absolute favorite sites! A few years ago, I was able to get a bike from Amazon for about $34 shipped, original price was like $110. We still have it for Alex.

I also love Lands End Overstocks pages. Every Friday morning, I scan it to see what's left in sizes that will fit someone here, look for a free shipping coupon and wind up with a great deal! You'd think living in Ghana would have slowed down my shopping habit... ha!

Trust me I understand completely.. Glad to hear things are going well.. Pumping is going great, having some problem with air bubbles, but other then that all is well.. We go for our 1 month check up tomorrow! That should be fun!! Talk with you soon!

      Thanks, that's gracious.

Remind me to tell you some time about the high school girl who rolled her eyes at me. . . . :)!

Have a fabulous night, don't let us nut cases get to you!

I did get that he was irritating you, but your response to him seemed awfully personally derisive, and that doesn't really seem your style. Of course, when you read words on the page you can't hear the "voice" the writer is saying it in, and tone can be everything, so this just seemed a little out of character and I wondered if maybe I was missing something.

I guess I have a soft spot for kids like this because I know a lot of folks on my side of the aisle that feel pretty besieged. I even have friends that feel they cannot let the people around them know what they believe because it may mean they lose their job. A lot of young people feel they are the only ones in their class that are conservative, including the teacher! Even if you think the perception is wrong (I don't, but you may), feeling that way can put a pretty big chip on your shoulder and make you seem arrogant. I also think it drives some of the emotion you see on the threads that are making you so nuts!

Thanks for listening, and for letting me know what was up.

(I thought about bringing my first amendment rights, but since this thread is not for politics...)
Oh, to be 19 again and so very, very clever...

You didn't really mean this, did you?

thanks for the post on Ambrea's high bg, there are many variables with diabetes. I believe the honeymoon is slowly ending. It helps to know someone is going thru the same stuff...Its only been four months for us..... and you been doing this much longer.
      HUGS and Blessings! Sheryl

That's nice of you to say.
It is really very complex, all of it, d and nond. And it's always hard to sincerely evaluate our own motives. Sometimes it is good to see it said out loud, just in posting questions (even technical ones) I sometimes see things I hadn't seen before, and then when answers come in from people with very different experiences, or similar experiences and different takes, it can be like a switch flipping in my brain. Love this stuff.

I'm posting over here just because I don't want to be misunderstood (please don't misunderstand me!), but on your other thread, I really think I get what you're saying. And it's not about how hard we work at the diabetes, it's about making sure we are not somehow "using" it to fill some need. For me, it would probably be to make me look good. I think we can use lots of different things in unhealthy ways, but I definitely do think it's something some of us should keep in mind with diabetes. Thank you for bringing it to the surface for me, I've never really thought that clearly about it, even in my head, but reading your posts really hit a nerve for me, this may be something I'm prone to and I want to avoid doing. Appreciate it.

I'm good Sarah, and Elizabeth is doing great!! I just posted an update in my own thread that Judy (Judy&Alli) started. It was very sweet for yours and other people's concerns.

Hey Sarah....saw you and Larry on the Friends for Life video...you guys looked (and sounded) great!!

I have been meaning to call you....it is going great...saline was easy (no stinging) and got use to the insets (no ice or emla). We went live on Monday with the ping...he loves not having to get a shot. It's so easy and we are tweaking things daily. I guess I am now wondering what took us so long (yesterday was his 1yr anniversary).
Speak to you later....btw I left the spibelt in your mailbox last week

Hi Sarah! Thanks for that, how cool! Eilish was quite intrigued. What a horrible question though, poor kids, LOL. I hate maths though ;) Ruapehu is pronounced - Roo a pay hoo ..proper maori pronunciation is a bit more technical, but... :D
Hope all is well with you all?
    19. Caydens_Mommy
Well you can never have too many friends!! Thanks for all your help recently!!

Thanks for the movie recommendation. Hey, still staring at the rotating lady? I explained the phenomenon on "math-haters" thread.
