Hi I read a post the pre fill cartridges. Do you keep them out at room temp then. I am thinking of just having one pre filled a few hours to 24 hours in advance....

Thanks for the reminder to clear my PM box.. I hate deleting stuff! I'm so glad you got it and that I managed to make the Christmas joy last until spring. :cwds:

Also very glad that you've finished renovating. :) Say 'hi' to Maddie from me!

I am wondering why you changed your user picture to a sad face. Are you sad?

OK, everything is all cleaned up, tidy and open for business. :)

Thanks Sarah. We are very proud of the work he does with the military. You wouldn't believe how many of those photos from Afghanistan are plastered on our walls!

      Dear Sarah,

many thanks for getting in touch and I am sorry if I have done something I shouldn't have on the forum. This wasn't intended and was only done with good intentions.

      I hope all is well.

      Best wishes,

Hi! I've been sewing a little bit, here and there, but impossible during the holidays. No, I haven't mailed one, yet. I was never happy with the original pouch I sent to Maddie. gooch

      Hey Sarah-
I'm so glad you emailed....I have been meaning to call to catch up. So far so good....minus the lost test kit on the first day :) The teachers have been great..much better than the elementary school. The nurse is good..but a little bit of a know it all...and she really doesn't know it all. Did you ever decide on a new pump for Maddie? We decided to try to get a dexcom 7...which was surprisingly easy. It arrived the other day. Haven't set up training for it yet, i think we need the school year to settle in first.
      Hope Maddie is doing well!

Honestly, I read that post as being heartfelt, but there were so many potshots and it was personal. Darryl's kid is in honeymoon, so he can't judge. She's probably not playing sports, so he doesn't know what he's talking about. He doesn't really know what his own kid thinks -- as if anyone knows what his relationship with his daughter is like. He is humiliating her in front of her peers. I think the poster was genuinely trying to help and is trying to be nice about it, but I just think it's a really bad precedent to set that anyone on here can tell any other parent how to take care of his child. I protested when Darryl tried to do it to others, I'm sure as heck going to protest when people try to do it to him. But I'm only inflaming tempers by arguing on the thread, so I'll shut up there! But wanted you to know where I'm coming from, because I totally believe that you didn't see the same things I did!

Apologies for not getting back sooner - we moved house on Friday, and you can imagine the sort of chaos it is here!
Unfortunately, I haven't got the Cozmonitor working yet. I have changed its battery, and am hoping that a new battery cap will bring it to life - I haven't given up on it yet!
      take care

Hah! I fake it well. . . . hard to get a grip on this stuff, it's so tough to get solid info to base judgments on, isn't it?

I go back with this food thing to my mom talking about smoking while she was pregnant, she says it was before it was labeled but "We knew, Lisa -- we knew."
I think it's the same thing now, it's pretty obvious that there's a reason I crave chicken nuggets or m & m's, it's not the superior ingredients or food quality! It's not that we aren't each responsible for our choices, same with smoking, but if you don't even acknowledge that there is a biochemical component and you refuse as a society to chastise folks who take advantage of that, you make it harder for people who are trying to make the right decisions.
And at the restaurant last night, was the anticipation bigger than the actual satisfaction of the meal? I get that all the time. I read a blog that discussed it as "what you think is out there, ain't out there."
Thanks for the conversation, makes me feel less fringe!

Oh, golly -- I hadn't seen that one yet. My black helicopters are so circling overhead!
I'm picking this one up right away. Thanks so much for the forward.
