Hi there, Sorry, figured I should at least attempt to keep the previous thread semi-on topic. The anti-rejection meds are a big issue and what I am doing right now is working pretty well. I have met plenty of people in similar positions though they are usually much older and lost their pancreas's (pancrei?) for reasons other then cancer. I know I complain a decent amount on this forum but all things considered my life going pretty well right now. Diabetes is annoying (as I am sure you know..) but I am doing well in school and just enjoying college like a typical person my age. If things get harder I may consider a transplant but for now I am pretty happy. Also, wow 41 years with type 1-- that is impressive. Best wishes, Meg
