What a crazy summer! Our numbers have been totally blown off, not only by our new "summer hours" of sleeping in and being up late but by Michael sneaking snacks (he admitted it). This being our first summer on the pump has sure taught us a lessons, the most important being keeping better records of his numbers. I'm sure we're in a for a scolding tomorrow at the doctors.
Oh well *sigh* We did so well when school was in but we've gotten quite lazy.

So I'm preparing a letter to give to his teachers for this year. I'd like to explain what diabetes is, how it is treated, both highs and lows and any other information that may be necessary. Does anyone have a letter like this that I can reference, or copy, or some suggestions of what all I should put into this letter.

    Thanks in advance!
