I just got the MiniMed Paradigm and I was wondering what I should do at water parks.

We went to an indoor water park for Alyssa's birthday last weekend and i just packed a little waterproof lunchbox full of her testing supplies. when she started to swim we just took the pump off and plopped it into that same bag. Checked her every hour -- which is about how often she wanted a snack anyway. Have fun!

It is different for everybody how much time they can be without the pump. I would recommend you to monitor your sugars regularly, and you can just connect to your pump for corrections. In that way, you can be disconnected the whole day if necessary.

i've stayed off the pump for a day before, just hooking up to eat and do corrections. u could always take shots for the day if you're afraid your sugars will rise
