My 16 year old was just put on a medication called Victoza to help her with weight loss and to help bring down her A1C. Victoza is a daily injection that is used only for type 2 diabetics... but people with type 1 are also having great success on it. Just curious to see if there was anyone else out there also using Victoza? My daughter is also on an insulin pump.

I know of at least two adults who have been using it for a couple of years. It helps prevent BG spikes and helps curb appetite, which leads to weight loss. I don't know if it works for everyone.
