    Unexpected Things

    He woke one morning ,
    Happy as could be,
Ready to take on the world.

    He left the house,
    Going to see her,
Nothing was going to stop him.

    He drove down the road,
A large smile on his face,
    Everything was going his way.

    He didn't see the truck,
    Speeding towards him,
All of his luck had run out.

    He never made it,
    She waited and waited,
    The man would never come.

This is a poem that I wrote for an English assignment.
