We, too, prefer the MultiClix over the Fastclix. We have both because when we bought backup meters, they came with the Fastclix, but when we thought DS' pump kit was lost at school, I was more sad that his one and only Multiclix was in there than I was about the dang meter remote LOL. (IT was later found thrown in a bathroom, in tact). Never thought to call them, but maybe we will do that today. We have 20 boxes of the drums for the Mutliclix too, and just 2 of the Fastclix, so I guess we should have backup :)

They give out back-up meters, too. In fact, they were the ones that told me originally that we NEEDED to have a back-up meter. They make their money from the test strips and have a vested interest in customers not switching.

We have only used FastClix. For those of you who have tried both MultiClix and FastClix and prefer MultiClix, why?

You will most likely never know the difference since you started on the Fastclix.

But those that started with the Multi clix, we advance the lancet at every poke compared to the multi clix because we are used to doing something with the button every time.

Also I like that the little circle on the Multi clix, it stick out futher and you can place it exactly where you want to poke.

Fastclix is...I dunno..startling. I'm not even the one getting poked but it just startles ME! Maybe it's just that we started with multiclix, but it seems too soon, every time! And I like the little tactile cue on the multiclix, it seems more exact or something.
