Totally cat people here. Also have a turtle, frogs and fish.. yes, the boys are part of that reason. We have had a chameleon and a gecko too in the past.

Dog person here, but also have a cat. The strange this is that the cat acts more like a dog, and the dog more like a cat. So go figure.....

She wags her tail like a helicopter propeller - the kids and the kids friends call her helicopter butt. When she gets excited it is a blur of a circle!

love the new puppy, the maine coones are undecided.

New puppy chases the kitties, I chase the puppy. Hoping after a month of this they will eventually tolerate each other...but if I had to decide the puppy wins. I can take her for car rides and she started to alert for low and high bg. regularly. She works for food.

Okay, so here are both of our dogs and one of our cats.

And this is exactly why I'm a 'both' person. :)

Oh my gosh, the two of them in bed are sooo cute!
I often wonder how my queen of the castle would do sharing her space with a dog...

I said cat person. Not that I don't like dogs, I do...as long as they belong to someone else. ;)

We had a springer spaniel, Charlie, when I was growing up. Hands down the best dog ever! I can't imagine any other dog being as awesome.

Currently we have a grey tabby, Cooper. He's very people oriented, likes to be in the same room with us, always sleeping with someone, comes running to the door to greet us...more like little puppy at times. lol

well, other than the allergies. I'm not allergic to any of them.

not so much. I'll look at your doggies. I just don't understand them.

I love both, we had 2 cats until a couple of years ago, but always had a dog growing up and really love them. My husband definitely does not, so...no dog for me now.:( I really miss having that tail wagging and those slobbery kisses in my life!

Cats all the way, dogs are ok, IF they're trained and don't jump and lick you.

Dog person here, though I like cats too, but have had dogs longer than I had my cat (years ago, had him 1 month:().

My dogs are in their winter years, and sadly the white/brown one is not doing well and we may need to take the difficult decision soon.:( The light brown had a stroke late last year, but has recuperated really well.

PS - wanted to post a pic, but the upload failed. How do I make it smaller?

Oooh, can you all post pictures of your pets?! I love the ones so far. And I need names too. I'm trying to get ideas.

If we get Carmen and she's 8 months old, can we change her name? I think that might upset her.
