We're going on vacation in a few weeks, renting a house. Though the kitchen should be equipped, I'm planning on taking a set of collapsible measuring cups and measuring spoons and a scale. We have Taylor digital scale, but I thought I'd look for a portable or smaller one. Any recommendations? TIA
We have the travel size of the Salter scale, it works well and we like it. Hope you have a great vacation! :cwds:
We bought this one http://www.amazon.com/Escali-PR500S...1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1269823672&sr=1-1 It is on sale right now and ships for free. It has the tare feature and it is compact enought to fit in Hailey's dailey care kit. We use it at restaurants etc. It is $31.86, no shipping, no tax. The lid opens up and lays flat in case you are wondering about that. It weighs in grams or ounces.
We use the Salter scales...love them. Where did you get your collapsible measuring cups? (I have been looking for some?)
We *will* use the portable Salter It's at my mom's house, awaiting our arrival. Love the full sized one.
I went online to the Salter website and could no longer find the 1450 the big one or the 1440 The Nutriweigh and Go. Evidently they are not selling them at the Salter website but you can still find them on other websites such as Amazon.
Wow, our endo team doesn't like if we rely too much on weighing everything. I mentioned getting a portable scale and they looked at me like I had 3 eyes. They say once in a while to get the eyes "retrained", yes, then use a scale, but not for all the time.
