For those of you whose child is pumping, but getting 100% of basal by injection:

What infusion set do you use?

Do you ever have trouble with the site due to being untethered (site clogging, etc.)?

    Thanks! :)

We are not currently unteathered full time due to puberty but we used quick sets when we were and did not have problems.

Currently Levimere cannot keep up with the demands of insulin my daughter needs so we are un-thethered day with a low dose hook up overnight. No clogging problem at all.

In the past we have done 100% untethered using the Insets and again, no problem with clogging. We did make a point of always capping the set to avoid lint or sand getting in. Now she tries her hardest to remember to cap, but oh well, it is what it is! So we have had clogs due to sand which resulted in unscheduled set changes.
