Putting it all into perspective - worrying vs living

    You just worded what I always try to say, perfectly.

    I try not to think about complications; they are something which may or may not happen in the future. I take care of D because it makes me feel good (not just physically, but I also just really like the feeling of seeing a nice number on the meter) and because I don't want to get really sick like I was at dx again. Complications are background noise, really.

    I worried about my kids before D entered our lives! I was at a comfort zone with MDI with Chris and now he is pumping - so it is a whole new bunch of worries! At least with the MDI experience and the great friends I have made at CWD I know we can get to a comfort zone with pumping too. **not to say I won't stop worrying! :eek:
