Our insurance recently changed. I had been receiving C's pump supplies directly from Animas, but that is no longer an option. Who do you use for mail- order and are you happy with their service? TIA.

We used to use Liberty Medical. Switched because their customer service is horrendous and every order required preauthorization from the insurance company for some strange reason (or at least that's what they were telling me.)

We are now using CCS Medical. It took them around 3 weeks to get the insurance info squared away but other than that they've been great. Check with your endo's office to see who they've worked with in the past and then see if they're on your insurance. I find that dealing with a company that has already dealt with our practice makes things run smoother for the most part.

We had liberty medical, and hated them! awful service. They would not add our secondary insurance to our account. We kept telling them they need to update and charge the secondary insurance, but they would just say we have it on file and continue to charge us. After 6 months of the same thing we switched to CCS.

Much better company and service. They are very quick, helpful, understanding, polite, and I can understand them. With liberty they would talk so fast, or I couldn't understand what they were trying to explain to me. I even asked for a different person to talk to at one point- had the same problem.

I had the same issues with them. EXTREMELY difficult to understand. I would continually tell them to slow down and repeat themselves and they would get annoyed AT ME, lol.

I'm very happy with both foundation care and solara. I had a horrible experience with diabetes specialty center.

We also use Solara for testing and Dexcom supplies, we don't pump. They have been very good. :)

I am also wondering the same thing. I am currently having issues with Liberty medical (got two calls saying supplies will be shipped -a month later, no supplies), and every call I send out to them ends up becoming useless. I had one person tell me they cannot ship supplies out until August, another offering to ship my supplies now, and a call with them saying that no billing plan has been set up for my pump and they cannot send out supplies until then (when we put a billing plan onto the pump back in May).

Call back and speak to a supervisor, and only a supervisor. That's the only way I was able to get anything accomplished with them. You will continue to receive the calls saying supplies have been shipped. That means nothing. I haven't used them for over 6 months and get them as well.

Do NOT use Diabetes Specialist Center. They sent me three boxes of Dexcom sensor that expired in only 3 months and two weeks.
They expired before I could use them and the DSC would NOT replace them.

NOT HAPPY WITH DSC and looking for another supplier for my hard earned money.

Another vote for Solara. No problems. (Knock wood!)
