Prop 8 Ruled Unconstitutional

    Just a not-insignificant update: Judge Walker has declined to extend the stay on the issuance of marriage licenses to same-sex couples. They're free to marry in CA, pending appeal. :)

    I'd be happy to live in NZ then!

    Here in Texas gay divorce is legal, but not marriage.. We finally had a hate crime passed only 10 years too late, but it's passed.

    So I'm glad with the turning point about Prop 8, but there's still the whole speculations. I think if two people of the same sex want to get married it has to be within private judge chambers, but as apart of the community, I know my friends aren't through fighting, and those of you who voted for same-sex it means a lot.
