Poor baby, and poor mommy - did you shut her basal off for a bit?

yeah, when I say a neg. temp basal we basically kept her at nothing yesterday.
Well, she did okay overnight(I guess), she hovered around 79-81 at every check(every hour). We deciced against using the glucogon and just monitored her all night and we let her sleep late today, so she is just now getting out of bed.

Now, the day begins. Poor hubby wanted to stay up to check her after he got home from work but I convinced him to let me until 4:00am, then to set his alarm. I watched 6 episodes of the Dresden Files last night and read 3 books! THen we let the alarm get him up until 8:00am, then I got up for the day and let him sleep for an extra hour.

So sorry you had to deal with a hypo seizure. Kathy had one two months after diagnosis and I swore we would never experience that ever again. Very scary - hope she is feeling better now!

Wow, how scary it must have been...

Thank you so much for posting about this and the aftermath of the seizure (to you and all the posters who shared their personal experience). If ever we were to go through this, at least we would not be totally in the dark.

Somehow, they don't tell us about seizures that way when we see the endo and CDE...
