We were in Toys r' us yesterday and Jaida (NON-D 6 year old) saw a pink t.v....
She asks "Can we get a new t.v? Ours occluded".

Wow the diabetes dialogue has turned into its own little language at our house I guess. She is right...their tiny little kid tv "broke":D

I was laughing the whole way home but I realized no one would really get it except you guys:rolleyes:

lol. It is a different language that somehow gets pepered into you own native tongue.

You know how the mm cgm says "Meter BG Now" when it's time to calibrate? Well, dd (and dh  ) use the "meter" as a verb. Like, "It says to meter bg," or, "we have to meter bg now." Like they think the pump is asking you to meter the bg, or something. I tried explaing that the pump is asking for a meter blood glucose, now, but they still want to "meter" it. :p
