Hey everyone. My son Toby was dx'd 6/24/11, just a month before his 3rd birthday. I think I'm finally starting to come to grips with everything, And here I am about 7 months later finally getting up the courage to join the forums. I've been going through the posts and I'm kicking myself for not joining sooner. The amount of support and information her is in both overwhelming and encouraging. I look forward to getting to know more and have the support of others through this crazy journey!

Welcome! There is nothing like drawing on the experience of other parents in your shoes. Hopefully, you can find something that appeals to you on the forum and makes life a little more manageable.

My son was 3 when dx'd in 1997. He just turned 18.

Welcome! Don't kick yourself; I think we find, then join, this forum when we're ready. My dd was diagnosed the very end of Feb. 2011, and I didn't post here until after she went to camp in July. It's a great, supportive group of people, and we're glad you're here now!

Welcome and you will be so glad to have found the wonderful, knowledgeable people on this site! We are newly dX (11.23.11). We found this site soon after. This site has become a 'go to' for information on everything for us! There is a great book list (not sure how to link to other threads:confused:) - worth buying the books! There is also a GREAT thread "10 things your endo didn't tell you" - wonderful help! Learning from this site has given us more information when working with our diabetic team! Some day we hope to be able to help as the others have helped us!
