For anyone who was following along with my hospital drama, DS is home as of last night. I did actually talk to someone in the hospital that knew what she was doing, and she put my mind at ease completely. She was tracking his sugars, and adjusting his food around them, instead of adjusting the insulin. So his dinner meals were a little heavier so stop him from going low at night. But all of that is behind us now. He's home and doing great! Now I can just relax and enjoy Christmas with the family. Thanks everyone for your support and kind words and advice. C7
Whew! Breathing a big sigh of relief for you. Glad you don't have to go through all that nonsense anymore and that he is home, safe and sound. Enjoy your holidays.
I'm am so glad to hear he is now home and the D management went okay during his stay. I have a 20 yr old son that was hospitalized 2 years ago for depression and was released on Christmas Eve. Last year, in December he had severe issues but was not hospitalized. This year - it is touch and go. Watch him carefully. In addition to year round depression, he is highly affected by SAD (Seasonal affective disorder). Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas filled with lots of love, joy and happy memories.
What a wonderful Christmas gift. So glad he's home and you can enjoy Christmas with your family together.
I am SO happy to hear that you are all together. Have a peaceful and joyful holiday together. Thanks for the update.
