I'm not trying to promote my blog (which is really good btw-lol) but I don't have access to a computer right now, so I can't copy and paste my poem onto this forum, I will do it when I can. For now, I wanted to offer you my wishes for the new year. You can click on the link to my blog in my signature, or go to karpoozi123.blogspot.com and read it. I just got into the poem thing so I need lots of compliments....

    I liked it.:D:D

Oh, I hope you don't mind, but I copy and pasted it here so others could read it without going to another page.

    Who but a diabetic
    can know the frustration,
    of shot after shot
    teken with dedication?
    Yet there is no sign
    of our salvation!
    Blood sugar testing,
    and careful consideration,
    Resisting carbs
    and their evil temptation.
    Diabetes never goes
    on any vacation,
    and requires lots
    of concentration.
    We sometimes feel
    some desperation,
    when the a1c doesn't meet
    our expectation.
    We read lots
    to get education
and we never seem to have
    enough information!
    It dominates our every
    conversation,
    despite other's lack
    of facination.
    It's funny what we see
    as cause for celebration,
    Of course the latest
    diabetes innovation!
    Mountains of supplies
    that require organization,
    those lows and highs,
    that bring about the realization,
    that there is so much
    misinformation,
    which in turn leads to
    such misinterpretation.
We just want people to understand
    A little of our frustration!
    Doctors and nurses,
    scripts for medication,
    A diabetes diagnosis
    is quite an implication.
So we continue to fork over
    another donation,
    Great worthy causes like
    American Diabetes Association
    and the Juvenile Diabetes
    Research Foundation.
    We hope that next year,
    the diabetic population,
    will look back,
    without hesitation,
    and say with lots,
    of jubilation,
    This year brought
    the cure-our salvation!

WOW!!! That poem is amazing! *round of applause* :)
Hey, you know what would be really awesome?
If we all made a book of poems and pictures that we take, and all of that good stuff...and got it published! That would be cool...anyways, GREAT JOB!

Problem is, I don't usually feel very poetic about diabetes. My poems mostly write themselves and diabetes doesn't make of onto the list most of the time....

Thanks guys for the compliments though!
