Minimed Mio infusion sites...insurance coverage or out of pocket???

I just tried to place a supply order on the Minimed site. We usually get Quicksets, but I decided to try a few boxes of the new Mio infusion sites this time. I was taken back that when I got to the checkout page it had the Mio's under "Cash" and the rest of my order was "insurance pending". I didn't place the order...was just wondering if anyone else out there got charged for the Mios when their insurance normally covers their other infusion sets.

 

Before we ordered our Mios we double checked w/ our endo office to make sure we were allowed to freely switch between sets. We were told we were and didn't have any trouble ordering them. They all went thru insurance just fine.

 

I'd call customer service.

 

Oddly enough, this happened to my Dh the other day when he went to reorder. It didn't happen the first time we ordered them. He's going to call today and see what's going on.

 

OUr insurance pays for ours! I would call this morning to find out.

 

there should be no restrictions on which set to use.. I'd call MM and order them that way.

 

He called yesterday and everything went thru fine. :cwds:
