Illinois Families: I Need Your Help!

    Illinois is closer to passing The Care of Students with Diabetes Act than it has ever been. The coalition of support throughout the state has helped educate and motivate people to move this legislation forward. Now, we need parents of children with diabetes to call their Illinois Senator.     The nurses lobby in Illinois is opposed to this bill and pretending it does and says things it does not. They are scaring people into believing that we are out to eliminate nurses in schools. Of course, we are not. We simply want to train people in schools so that children who attend a school without a nurse can be safe and healthy and free to learn.

    Please, whatever time you can spend, please call your Senator and as many others as your time allows. I appreciate the help.
