As some of you know I have been fighting with Phoenix for the last few days to get him to eat, thinking it was just him giving me a good run for my money, which I have still not ruled out

Then while crying in bed I noticed he sounded funny, Rob and I looked at each other and it dawned on us, he might have a sore thoat

We took him to the DR yesterday and he does infact have a very bad throat infection. So far no fever and no keytones, and we have switched to every hour 10-15 carbs to keep his sugars going. I hope this will get better now that he is started meds.

I'm glad you got it figured out, hopefully he will be feeling better soon.... I found some great lifesaver sugar free popcycles that are 4g each at the grocery store works great for sore throats and to keep those bs up a little more....
