kind of happy, kind of nervous about starting school with it. ive been on the deltec for a while and someone broke it at school a few years ago. genius me failed so im going to that school again. how do you deal with the teachers and other kids with your pump? even with a plan and talking to my teachers about it they still dont understand. and i know i havent been on here in forever. lol. myspace.com/findthecureclothing theyre pretty cool.
My friends and other kids mess with my pump, i just watch what there doing and explain what it does..just so they know.. but im sure everything will go well! keep us posted! <3 Amanda
I never let anyone besides my parents touch my pump unless i really trust them. I wouldn't let any people at school mess with it, cause you never know what will happen.
Sometimes my friends will ask to see it, and I've offered to let them hold it, just to get an idea of what it feels like, how heavy it is, etc, but they usually decline. They're too afraid to "mess anything up". oh, I love my friends.... Anyway, I usually go in and talk to each of my teachers about my pump at the beginning of school, because they usually don't respond to email. Good luck!
