Actually breaking was quite easy for the Cozmo. After more than 8 years of being a Cozmo user, that has abruptly ended this evening. The Cozmo just started sirening alarming and no buttons would work. Tried a new battery, cleaning, everything we could think of and only got error codes and a 0 data message. Can't even get into the pump to look at the settings. Was hoping to hold out for a bit longer, but we will be ordering the T-Slim this week. I got my paperwork into them about a month ago when his Cozmo went out of warranty just in case it broke and we needed a new one soon. Glad I did! Just gave him a dose of lantus and a refresher course on insulin pens which he will be taking to school tomorrow.
We loved our Cozmo. It was a brilliant pump Hope the T-slim can fill it's shoes- I know the medtronic can't Good luck!
