Add, the water, molasses, butter, and egg. Beat with an electric mixer on low to medium speed for 2 minutes. Spread into pan. Bake 20 minuters or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Serve warm with whipped topping or whipped cream, if desired.
