If you set your homepage to www.goodsearch.com and then pick your charity...everytime you search (just like google or yahoo), money goes to the charity that you have chosen. I stumbled upon it by accident but its pretty cool. There are lots, so pick your favorite, but some of the diabetes causes I could find are: Iaccoca Foundation (supports Dr. Faustman's research) Joslin Diabetes Center Dogs4Diabetics - D4D - Dogs for Diabetics (concord, CA) Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation National Headquarters - JDRF American Diabetes Association - ADA - National Office Childrens Diabetes Camp of Central Texas Childrens Diabetes Foundation at Denver and many many more local diabetes groups. I'm sure there are so many more diabetes groups but I didn't have time to search for them all ! And if you are starting your own non-profit to raise money for a cause (and I know there are some parents on here that have) you can apply to put your non-profit on the list.
Can anyone involved in foundations listed, verify that the foundations in fact received money from this search engine?
