With all that has been going on around the country weather wise, I was thinking it would be helpful for those here new and old for a refresher on what should be in an emergency box.

    Mine:
    Glucose
    Fruit chews
    Gel
    5 complete set changes
    Syringes
    Flashlight
    Batteries for pump and meter
    General first aid supplies
    Spare meter
    Ketone strips (urine)

    Nearby:
    Insulin
    Glucagon
    Strips
    Granola bars

    Please add what you have.

I would add that I leave a set of everything at my parents. If there is a fire or something where I have to get us out of the house quickly it's comforting to know that I have supplies somewhere else, at least enough to get us through a day or two.

Yes, I do this too, and at our other house. When I go to these places, I do carry the emergency box with me too.

As I'm doing some paperwork, I'm thinking that copies of birth certificate, social security number could be tucked in easily.

I guess you want everything you need included, but you don't want so much that you're including the kitchen sink too!

What kind of container do you keep the stuff in?
