This place has tons of books all in the public domain...http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page. Generally, nothing new with a valid copyright, but still many many classics.

I've also found a couple of J.D. Robb books (the In Death series) on Limewire (I know, I know ) in PDF format. In case you're not aware, J.D. Robb is Nora Roberts and the series is a futuristic woman detective series -- excellent, imho.

Which one did you get? I am researching now. Google books has thousands of them.

Also check with your local library on line. We can check out books to the Sony Ereader and Nook
