Hope your son feels better soon and that it's just the flu.

    Hello Everyone,

Daniel is doing alot better. Still very weak but fever is almost gone. The Dr. called today and said that they will not be testing him for the swine flu unless he has bee exposed or we live in an area that has confirmed cases. Seems odd to me because it all started somewhere.

The Dr. also called in some Tamiflu for Johnathon so he is on a 10 day dose just to be safe. Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Hope we can all put the swine flu behind us soon. We have enough to worry about with just D......

They just confirmed a case in the Nashville area, so it is now confirmed in TN. Glad your son is doing betther now.

Well how do they get confirmed cases in an area unless they test for it? Someone has to be first...that seems stupid on your doctor's part.

I hope he is feeling better soon.

I don't believe it was her call...it sounded like the health dept. made the decision.

Glad your son is on the mend.

It was the Health Dept's call. I feel the same way, how will they know if it is swine flu unless they check. If they are not testing everyone that is positive for the flu they will never know how many cases that are really out there.
