How do you tell if the Dexcom is fully charged? When it is plugged in a big green battery displays -- even when it is empty. When unplugged, the icon of the battery doesn't change.

    Yes it does ;). See the User's Guide p. 36 (4.1.3.)

When you plug it in, it shows different fractions of the battery as being full. If when you plug it in, it shows a full green battery, it's fully charged.

We had the same confusion when we first received the Dexcom, as the user guide was showing a full green battery and we were seeing a gray battery, which to me looked empty. Full battery = gray, and as the charge is used, you will see black sections to show the charge depleting. When you plug in the dexcom, you should see a little lightning bolt over the battery showing that it is charging.

Thanks. That is exactly what we are experiencing.
