I was reading about this and want it for my son. any feedback ? how are they?
We love ours for our 2 year old, but you have to understand their limitations. It mainly shows you trends, so if your DS is going down or up, you can act faster. We do fewer finger pokes and sleep better with it. That's not to say we sleep through the night and can rely on it totally for lows. DS hates insertion, but once that is over its easy breezy for a week. We do better with Emla. We lost our first receiver; expensive at $350 to replace. Since living without it, (while waiting for replacement) I can't tell you how many times we've said "I miss our CGM".
We have it on both my boys and we like it. None of the CGMs are perfect but this one is easy for us to wear and use.
