Default Minimed & SkinTac

I was just ordering some of Brandon's supplies, and saw that MM now has SkinTac wipes in their list of supplies. Now I won't have to order from two places! YEA!

Our insurance won't cover it through MM for some reason. They covered the remover but not the adhesive. I didn't order it this last time because I didn't have the time or effort to argue with them about it.

Is it better than just the IV prep? We use alcohol wipe, then IV prep then put the site in once it is sticky.

They recommended the skin tac because he lost 2 sensors where they just came out.

I think it is a lot more sticky than the IV prep. We had a lot of trouble with Brandon's sites coming off in the bathtub. We don't have any problems with the skintac coming off. I have a bunch of wipes, and the bottle of Skintac, so I didn't order from MM when I ordered his supplies. I'm not sure how our insurance will cover it. If you go to Torbot's website, you can ask for a sample of the skintac.
