Default Just a vent

I just need to vent and if you dont go any further that is ok. But why does it all have to hit the fan? We have been doing good with Taylor and her diabetes, it will be a yr in June. Well yesterday after I was done working out my heart felt funny. I currently have a pig valve in place of my regular one. So I sort of ignored it. Then today when I went to work out I decided to take it really easy cause my heart was still feeling the same as yesterday. As the dr said it probably sounded like a buzzing noise. So I was at Taylors school and asked the nurse if I could borrow her stethescope. Yep didnt sound right at all. So I did end up in the ER. Well my valve that I have had for 10 yrs is going bad. I will be needing open heart surgery in the future. I didnt even get to see my cardiologist since he is over 300 miles away and when I have surgery it will be in UT and not in this stupid little town that has absolutly nothing here.
I was in tears at the school since I pretty much knew what I was going to be told and I upset Taylor. So the nurse called me while I was in ER to talk to Taylor. I am just so upset. I just feel like I cant get out of this medical debt whole. We get one thing down and then wham. Something else happens. Dont know what I will do with Taylor when I have surgery since noone but DH really knows what to do with her. I know I need to start training. I am really hoping we can get a job transfer and get back to UT where all of my dr.s are. I am just so frusterated right now. Luckily I can resume my normal activities minus lifting heavy items. Luckily my kids are all grown.

I just wanted to give you virtual hugs!

Take it one day at a time...that's all we can do, right?

I don't know what to say, except I'm sorry.

The bills never seem to end! I am glad that you listened to your body and had yourself checked out. Your family needs you! Hang in there
