Default T1 & epilepsy

Anyone have experience with T1 and epilepsy. I can basal test 'till the cows come home but it only lasts a couple days at most. The seizures (absence) raise his BG. He has a Dexcom but the seizures mess with the sensors so we get false lows or highs. We are on medication number 2 for seizures...so far not helping as much as needed for good BG control. I'm exhausted trying to keep BG anywhere close to in range day and night. He uses the Omnipod system. Lantus and injections were harder 'cuz I couldn't effect change like I can with micro dosing and he was high more then not. Any ideas??

Have you researched Vagus Nerve Stimulators? I'm not sure if one would be appropriate for your situation, but I thought I would mention it. Good luck!
