Anyone that has tried this--how does it rate in comparison to the iPort? Is it any more comfortable? I have checked the website but the picture of it doesn't give me a good enough idea of what it looks like. We just switched to MDI Lantus/Humalog and are wondering if we should give one of these things a try.
Thanks, Kelli Mom to Tori, 8yo, dx 1-31-07

We use the Insuflon. I can't compare it to the Iport because we haven't tried that one.
We chose the Insuflon because its smaller on my 2 year old's skin. The needle goes in at an angle - its not short (its probably 2-3" long). We numb the skin before we put it in and it leaves a cannula about 1/2" long when you remove the needle. It does reduce the injections. If I had to choose again, I may choose the Iport because the insertion (I think) is easier.
