That was eye opening. You have been one brave man! Many of those pictures were terrifying and it is simply amazing how much has changed. The pictures from the 1920s made me want to cry for the children and the parents. One picture of the mother holding her son before insulin I could see the horror in her face, the fear of losing that child. It was nice to see the "after insulin" picture of the same boy. Dramatic!

It indeed gives me hope for a cure!

crazy seeing some of that. my grandma described a lot of it to me before she passed, like boiling needles and that solution they had to use.
