hi anyone
i have a six year old with type 1 and live in manchester, England and she has had the condition over 3 years and only now am i needing the help and support of other mums (and dads) who also who have the same problems as me. so hi allx

Hello and welcome! I'm 17, and I have also had diabetes for 3 years, and live in England (Essex). I'm sure you'll find all the answers and support you are looking for on CWD - it is a wonderful resource.

Hi Helen welcome aboard! I do not have a child with diabetes, but I was diagnosed in 1945 when I was 6. I remember how difficult it was for my parents. There was very little known about diabetes back then. With the knowledge and tehnical advancements we have today, it is much easier to have good control of our diabetes.
Ask all the questions you want, we are here to help! Richard
