Wow, it should be interesting what he has to say. I personally feel the man has done a major disservice for all living with T1D. No kidding, why wouldn't they get an endocrinologist, you know, one of those doctors who actually work with diabetes?

UGH! I had never heard of him until I was having symptoms of MS and he was on Oprah or something talking to Montel Williams about his MS. What a moron!! Why can't he just stick to what he knows something about?

Isn't it just crazy that even congress is going celebrity. That man did a hugh disservice to all type 1's on Oprah and now he is going to congress to give them the message. Terrible.

The Chicago Tribune did a front page article on him. Let's just say he needs to stick to what he knows. Quite frankly, I am not fond of him at all.

Did anyone see the show he did about diabetes? It had me fuming...I actually sent him a letter (of course no response came) about how he never once differentiated between T1 & T2 on the show. He said over and over again how all these people could get rid of their diabetes with diet and exercise. He showed meals that should be eaten and foods that should never be eaten by diabetics. He did a disservice to the T1 community with this show because he didn't know what he was talking about.
