I think they could have found a better way to get their point across without using a child to appeal to peoples sense of giving. This was done in extremely bad taste in my opinion.

Wow that is shocking!!! CDA has made a mistake with this one! I did not recieve this is it found online?? Or a flyer that was sent out??

Is it even acurate?!? If she is having those problems she needs to find better control for her diabetes!!!

I agree that it was done in poor taste. They could have come up with a much better way to get the need for a cure across.

That letter is disturbing and crosses over inappropriate lines.

Mom almost dying in her sleep (regularly)
Dad having to save her life with an emergency needle (regularly)
Child has no idea if he'll see his mom the next morning because she almost dies all the time
Can't afford supplies
Dying from complications

Wow, such a disgrace! I think I will write a letter letting them know how absurd the whole thing is. I almost wonder if people are permitted to write their own letters and the CDA gives them the link to post to donate.
