We have been working with our insurance and medtronic to get her the pump and we got approved. It should be here WED I am so happy for her

yay!! I know how excited we were to get the pump. We can't imagine life without it now. Very nervous and excited at the same time. I wish you well!! For us it was life changing

Super! We're in the process right now for Kylie and want to get Travis on as fast as we can! I'm sure it will be a relief to actually start it as the process can sure drag on sometimes!!

Good job! We are in the process of getting Reese on the pump too. Our endo. office does all of the interfacing with the insurance companies...isn't that great! They also have said at each class, that regardless of the insurance type (including State insurance programs), they have been successful in getting a pump for every child who wants one.

I feel very fortunate to be with a hospital that works this way after reading about how many of you are having to fend for yourselves with the insurance companies.
