Default Does anyone wear pumps while swimming?

Ava got her pump in October, so we haven't hit swim season yet, but last summer we spent almost every day swimming.
Tonight we took too long of a bath and she spiked up to 370. UUGH. She came down fine, but we're going on vacation in April and I don't want to deal with the whole pump disconnect thing.

Also, she can only do sets on her toosh at the moment, so I'm not sure how easy it would to disconnect and reconnect.

One of the reasons we got the Animas ping is because they said it was waterproof, but I've heard some bad water stories on this board.

Anyone keep their pump on while swimming?

Sam swam with his cozmo on because it was waterproof. We just switched to the ping and he will swim with that one too this summer.

We were told that the Animas Ping is waterproof, but the CDE mentioned that she wouldnt trust it. Then again, if it is under warranty... lol

My daughter is just starting swim lessons and LOVES the water... we will be testing out the Ping once we get it in the next few months. I will leave it up to her if she wants to wear it in the pool. We don't swim for more then an hour, so it shouldn't be a problem to disconnect her for it if she wants to...
