Default First...

What was your first BG and bolus of 2009!?

My first bolus was 1.7 units at 00.17 for bucks fizz and my first BG was 72 at 1.21 (too much insulin?) lol. Since then I've been low 5 times. Lulz, the year's going well...

Exact opposite, first BG was 356 with a 6.7 bolus. I was high most of yesterday, and the day before, and the day before...

First BG was 125(Score!) at 12:30 AM. First bolus was 2.5 units to cover breakfast a couple hours ago.

First BG of the New Year was 295 at 3am (lots of IOB so no correction) and 292 at 11am when I woke up, with 4.3 units correction. No bolus yet, just not hungry lately with all these highs...I don't know what happened. My 30 day average was down to 118...now its 170 something. I will have to make some adjustments, but I don't know if I shoulc changed my ICR or basal. Ugh.

And my last BG of 2008...a wonderful 454

Mine was 73. Wonderful way to start the new year, with a low, huh? That was at like 1:30ish AM. We had several people over playing the Wii and the guys (of course the only "girls" were, me, my mother, and Rebekah) started wrestling in the living room (to my mother's horror) and that's when I went low. I don't know why, I wasn't wrestling! LOL.

Default Today so far

At 8:15 my meter said 144 when my father stopped by this morning, but I suspect it was a case of dirty hands, because
At 10:25 when I finally got up, my meter said 106. I took 7.5 units of Novolog for breakfast, which was obviously not enough, because
At 1:45 when I next tested the meter said 217. Oops. I took 2.5 units correction.
