We've been pumping with cozmo for almost 2 years now (my son is 8). He never uses the belt clip case, just either shoves it in his pocket or uses a pump pack. The battery cap being loose is the most likely culprit for your shutdown.

We never liked the cleo's (I think you'r going to find most don't use them) they are very prone to clogged tubing. What sites did you use on MM? there are probably comparable sites (usually made by the exact same manufacturer) But other good alternatives for straight in sets are the insets or inset30 which is angled with an inserter or comfortshorts which is angled without an inserter (the exact same set as the inset 30 and the same as the silhouette)

Good luck. I'd be so sad if we ever had to change from cozmo. Ilove the ease of use. I love having all the different home screens to see at a glance things like Insulin on Board. (that's one of our favorites)

We use the Minimed quick-sets and the Inset with our Cozmo.

Cozmo with the attached Cozmonitor is a good fit for us. We also use the Minimed Quicksets. We appreciate that the freestyle strips take the least amount of blood and have had no difficulty with warranty replacements with the pump or meter - Customer Service has been great to us in the past 2 1/2 years.

Shannon,
Thanks for the tip about pumppacks.org I will check it out! Good luck with the pump, we love pumping SOOOO much better than shots! This Cozmo is great, it's like having a parent voice in there, "did you re-check?" "did you bolus?" all the alerts are great! I wish you guys the best with the new venture, looks like you are closing in on 1 year since dxd. It gets much easier as time goes by, our first year was rough. We still have our moments, but that's what they are, moments... the rest of the time it's business as usual! Take care- rania
