Default Connor's 7th Birthday - Picked to be Magic Assistant!

Connor had a magical birthday today . We went to family night at our local rec center for his birthday tonight. He was picked to be the magician's assistant and got to go up on stage! He was a ham and did a little happy dance on stage. It was pretty darn funny... Here's some pics from his stint as a magician. He even got to keep his magic wand. It was really neat to see him experiencing pure joy. Loved it!

The magician did this amazing thing with an enormous balloon. He pumped it up with an electric leaf blower, and then crawled inside it one body part at a time until he was completely enclosed by the balloon. He then peeked out with just his head, and then the rest of his body. It was hilarious!

The magician was amazing and had such a natural gift relating to the children (and adults too). I loved watching the kids bursting out with laughter and jumping up and down with glee. It made me feel like a kid again myself. Perfect!
