Default JDRF Walk Awards/ Charmed you need to check this out.

We went to the awards brunch today and had a great time. We ended up with 3 awards Best Family Effort, Bronze Certificate Award for raising between $1,000 and $4,999, we raised $4,192 and Christian got the Golden Sneaker award for raising more than $1,000.

We were sitting at a table in the front eating our breakfast and a family walked up looking for a table. We told them that the other chairs at our table were free so they sat with us. We were talking to them and they were a really nice family, mom, dad and son who is around 37 or so. Anyway they are calling out the names for awards and they call out the Celebrity Ambassador, Dorian Gregory, and the guy sitting at our table stood up and went to get the award. As we were talking to them his dad starts talking about media work and wants to do something with Christian and Dorian documenting them getting their pumps at the same time.

Well it was a great time and I can't wait until the walk this November.

Here is a picture with Christian and Dorian Gregory.

Congrats on the awards. We got Rookie of the year in our area for raising over $10,000 our first year out as a team.

That's awesome. I'm so jealous. Maybe I should go to one of those dinners. We got to meet the UCONN basketball team when we went to the walk and got pictures of the coach. My son was pretty psyched about that. He's got one ball signed by all the players to keep, and we got a second ball signed and put it up for auction in my mom's school for their annual fundraising for JDRF.

Always remember to check: Is the insulin bad? Is your child sick? Has their activity level gone down?
Sometimes it's the simple things that we over look. So always keep it in mind before you drive yourself crazy.
