Hi,

After 20+ years with Kaiser my husband's employer is changing insurance plans. March 1st we will be starting all over. Find a new endo, pediatrician, etc. While I have never been crazy about Kaiser I am used to their system and they took very good care of my daughter. The new insurance company has already told my husband they prefer for us to order our pharmacy items by mail. Obviously, Minimed stuff is a given. In reading the posts here for a while I have only heard A Plus mentioned. Are they the best? Are there others to choose from? Would appreciate any information. Thank you.

We just started using A+ (so far so good) I'd talk to your new Insurance company to see if they already have a mail order company with your plan. we use BCBS and they offer mail order through Walgreens. Now our Insurance company won't let us order our Insulin from A+ but they will let us order it through the Walgreens which is supposed to let us get a 90 day supply of insulin for $40.00 (I hope their right) Good Luck!!

we use A plus and have had a few issues, but nothing that would make us stop using them.. they don't take a co-pay so it saves us over $300+ a month.. they are timely with shipping, and Michael, the manager, is very nice and will take care of any issues you may have very quickly

We just started using Aplus in January. There were a few wrong/missing items, but then sent the right stuff within days. Our 2nd shipment was mailed yesterday.

I wouldnt say they are the "best", but there is alot of talk on her about them because they save people so much money with no copays.
