Just an FYI - you can donate to CWDF directly if you so choose in order to support LCT trials

http://www.cwdfoundation.org/MakeDonation.htm

Make a donation earmarked for human clinical trials using the encapsulated porcine islets. Children With Diabetes Foundation , has offered its support in raising funds for LCT's DiabeCell® clinical trials for people with type 1 diabetes. The foundation has established a fund which allows you to contribute tax deductible donations towards the trials.

Just curious - if use of embryonic stem cell research leads to a cure, would all of you with moral issues with it then accept the cure or would you pass out of principle? I have my thoughts - good and bad - re this type of research so it is definitely something one must think about.

The Children With Diabetes Foundation does not fund embryonic stem cell research. Check out www.cwdfoundation.org

If the devil himself found a cure, I would gladly grow a goatee in his honor
