Richmond, VA Event - Meet George Canyon - March 24, 2012
The Children?s Hospital of Richmond and Animas Corporation are offering a free half day diabetes education program on March 24 in Glen Allen, VA for families and caregivers of children living with diabetes ? providing important information on how to manage diabetes in their daily life and how to work with others who may be caring for their child. Additionally, country music star George Canyon, who also lives with Type 1 diabetes, will be sharing his own personal story, as well as a few of his hit songs.
The day will include fun events for the kids, valuable information for parents and of course a special visit from George Canyon.
